The location of this year’s celebration will be Ikes Bar in Pocahontas, Iowa.

 

This year’s dress up theme will be a Prom/Homecoming Theme.  So break out your Prom Dress, Bow Tie, Tux, Leisure Suit, Letter Jacket Big Hair, Mullet, or come dressed as a float, fire truck or anything you would see at Prom or in a Homecoming parade… be sure to be creative.

We will also elect a King a Queen and a cast of Princes and Princesses.

The time has come to reserve your seat on an Irish Party Bus. Remember, this is the largest mobile St. Patrick’s Day Party in Pocahontas County, the State of Iowa, and possibly the Midwest. The cost for this year’s “SPILLIPROM” Bus Ride will be $20.00 per person - non-refundable.

We have limited seating available on the three Party Buses (35 - 40 seats on each Bus). If we have 40 or more on a bus we will need your cooperation with the seating/standing arrangement.

We ask that you send your bus registration and money to Jerry Bollard, 604 Q Avenue A, Milford, IA 51351 or stop at Ikes Bar and register. We ask that you have your seat(s) paid for by March 9th so we may plan accordingly.
The COST AFTER March 9th will be $30.00

Beverages will be allowed on the bus and we do ask that all take-on alcohol be purchased at Ikes Bar.

This brings us to our Schedule of Events, which is always subject to change without notice!! All times are very flexible.

Thursday March 22: 6:45 PM – ???? PM Cash in your piggy bank and can money; we are headed to the Wild Rose Casino in Emmetsburg.

Friday March 23: 3:35 PM – 7:35 PM – “SPILLIPROM” Beer and Wine Tasting!! Location to be determined.

Ike’s Bar 8:05 PM – Pre-Tour Tune Up, Meet at Ikes Bar for lively banter and reminiscing, King and Queen campaigning, music and lots of fun and surprises.

Saturday March 24: Ikes Bar 12:05 PM – Meet at “Ikes Bar” in Pocahontas for Pre Tour tune up to include: announcement of this years Grand Marshall and Last years King and Queen. Check in, announcements, pep rally and grand send off!! Please stop at the check in table as soon as you arrive at Ikes. This will help us get everyone processed in a timely manner.

12:45 PM – Grab your Beer to go for the bus ride and we are off to the first stop on the “SPILLIPROM TOUR” – “ANTLERS PUB N GRILL” in Clare, where the motto is “Welcome to Our Neck of the Woods” Lori & Terry are very happy to have us back this year… Be on the lookout we may be playing Hammerschlagen at this stop. Remember… Spillin’ is a Marathon not a Sprint!!

3:05 PM – Grab your buddy and get ready for the next stop on the tour - “KNUCKLEHEADS BAR & GRILL” in Badger, this will be a very short ride from Clare. This is our first time at Knuckleheads and our band Stubble Trouble will love the stage at this bar.

4:35 PM – Grab some more Beer to go and we’re headed for the next stop on the tour - “GORDY’S AT RUSTIX” in Humboldt. This establishment is under new ownership and features specialty beers from a local Microbrewery, TractorLift Brewery… Missy will be our host and Food will be available for purchase at this stop, the menu will be announced the morning of the Bus Ride.

6:35 PM - Get your dancing shoes ready because we are headed for Ikes Bar and the Irish Party of the Year to include:
Uncle Jim in the DJ Booth.

Shortly after we arrive back at Ikes – Results of the Vote for King and Queen.
